On January 25, 2024, Permanent Representative Omar Sultanov met with the Director of the European Bureau of the World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Hans Kluge.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the initiative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov to hold the International Health Investment Forum in Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan in 2024.

The future event will serve as an important impetus for the mobilization of international resources to strengthen health systems and deepen regional cooperation between the main actors: governments, international organizations and donors.
