On 11 September 2019 the Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva Daniiar Mukashev held a meeting with Director of the Bureau for Asia and Pacific of the Office of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Mr. Indrika Ratwatte.   
During the meeting the parties discussed the bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and UNHCR, project activities of the organization in our country, as well as the planned participation of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Mr. Chingiz Aidarbekov in High-level segment of the 70th session of the UNHCR Executive Council to be held on 7-8 October 2019 in Geneva and dedicated to the issue of eradicating the statelessness. 
Mr. Indrika Ratwatte commended the Government of Kyrgyzstan for its efforts in eradicating the statelessness and emphasized that our country had become one of the first in the world which managed to solve this problem. He also stressed up that the participation of Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan in said event would allow our country to share its best practices and experience in this very complex issue.
