On April 22, 2019, there were held negotiations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey on mutual trips of citizens.

The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic, represented by the Director of the Department of Consular Service  of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic A.Imangaziev, Deputy Chairman of the State Migration Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic S.Toktobolotov, the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey met with the Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey for consular issues Emine Eсe Ozbayoglu Aсarsoy as well as representatives of the General Directorate of the Migration Administration of the Ministry of the Interior of Turkey, the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services of Turkey and the Ministry of Health of Turkey.

During the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on the reduction of the consular fees for issuing work visas to citizens of two countries, issues of issuing employment permits and conditions of stay of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the territory of both countries.

The parties also agreed to simplify the conditions of receiving Turkish visas by citizens of Kyrgyzstan through the establishment of the Visa Center in Bishkek.

Following the results of the meeting, there were reached agreement on further joint work to improve the conditions of stay of Kyrgyz citizens in Turkey and Turkish citizens on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
