On February 21, 2019, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ankara, Director of the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu visited Ankara. During the visit, Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu met with the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Faik Yavuz and Chairman of the Board “OSTİM” Organized Industrial Region Orhan Aydın.

During the meetings, issues of strengthening cooperation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkey in the trade and economic sphere were discussed, and presentations on investment opportunities in the Kyrgyz Republic were presented.

According to the results of the meeting of the Director of the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu with the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Faik Yavuz and Chairman of the Board “OSTİM” Organized Industrial Region Orhan Aydın has been signed the Memorandum of understanding.

In addition, on February 20, 2019, an investment Roadshow was held in Istanbul city devoted to the promotion of investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic and investment projects in agriculture and energy sectors at the Foreign Economic Relations Board of the Republic of Turkey (DEIK).
