On January 26, 2024, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Türkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev met with a member of the board of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Faik Yavuz.

At the meeting, the parties discussed preparations for the 11th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkish Commission (IGC) on trade and economic cooperation, the Kyrgyz-Turkish business forum within the framework of the IGC, as well as the intensification and further development of trade and economic cooperation.

Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev expressed the high interest of the Kyrgyz side in strengthening trade and investment relations between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye.

Following the meeting, the parties determined an action plan for the successful organization of the Kyrgyz-Turkish business forum.
