In the period from April 17 to April 19, 2018, a business trip of Consular General B. Salimzhanov to the cities of Khanty-Mansiysk and Surgut of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra was held on the initiative of the Kyrgyz side.

As part of the trip, Consul General B. Salimzhanov met with the First Deputy Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra G.Bukhtin, Director of the Department of Labor and Employment of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra A. Varlakov, Director of the Department of Industry of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug A. Shipovalov, Mayor Surgut V. Shuvalov, Deputy Head of Surgut A. Zherdev, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Surgut A. Erokhov and other officials of the state bodies of the subject.

During the meeting, joint plans of the parties in the field of trade, economy, tourism, culture, and the protection of citizens' rights were discussed. The parties expressed their willingness to cooperate in all areas.

Consul General B. Salimzhanov also met with representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora organization, the Kyrgyz-North NGO, working people of Kyrgyzstan, staying in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District-Yugra, in order to provide consular services and discussions on the protection of their rights and legal interests.
