On May 8, 2018 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan E. Beyshbiev met with the delegation of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in the Kyrgyz Embassy in Islamabad.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the opportunities for activating trade and economic relations and establishing direct contacts between business circles of the two countries, as well as opening direct flights on the Bishkek-Islamabad-Bishkek route.

Ambassador E.Beyshembiyev informed the guests about the tourist potential of the Kyrgyz Republic and reminded of the functioning of the E-Visa System, which allows to receive entry and exit tourist or business visas of the Kyrgyz Republic via the Internet without the need to appeal to the diplomatic and consular missions of the Kyrgyz Republic, that increases the number of tourists from Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic.

In its turn, the Pakistani side expressed desire to strengthen further cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest and also confirmed its readiness to facilitate the establishment and expansion of direct contacts between business circles of the two countries in the field of air communication.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
