Regarding the meeting of the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan A.Kakar with the Ambassadors of the Economic Cooperation Organization member-states

On October 23, 2023 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev took part in the meeting of the Caretaker Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar with the Ambassadors of the Economic Cooperation Organization member-states in Pakistan. The meeting was attended by the heads of foreign missions of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkiye, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, paying special attention to the necessity of deepening the regional economic integration and initiating perspective multilateral projects.

Ambassador U.Totuiaev drew the attention of the Pakistani side to the importance of strengthening political ties, organizing bilateral events at various levels, as well as developing trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. In particular, he noted the issues of increasing mutual trade turnover, organizing joint productions in two countries, as well as implementing regional projects.

A.Kakar, emphasizing Pakistan’s special interest in developing relations with the countries of Central Asia in general, expressed readiness to work together aimed at promoting current issues of interaction.
