On January 10, 2024 the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev held a meeting with the care taker Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Nadeem Jan within the framework of the Global Health Security Summit, which is held on 10-11 January in Islamabad city.

The care taker Minister of Health of Pakistan N.Jan expressed his gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for participation in the Global Summit on Health Security, emphasizing the important role of such events for ensuring the regional security.

The Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic A.S.Beishenaliev expressed his gratitude for the invitation and noted the high level of organisation of the event. Marked the wide range of opportunities for enhancing bilateral ties in the sphere of medicine.       

The parties discussed the development and strengthening of ties in the field of health care, medical education and pharmaceuticals.

The interlocutors agreed to develop and sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministries of Health of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.
