On March 6, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr.Ulanbek Asankulovich Totuiaev with the Chairman of “Kasib Associates” Waseem Asghar Muhammad, the CEO of “Zeeruk Global” Inam Minhas, the CEO of “Mir Associates Private Limited” Mir Atiq Ur Rehman and their honorary partners .

The parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues of Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation in the field of trade and economics, including investments, logistics, banking, as well as paid special attention to the necessity of deepening regional economic integration and initiating perspective multilateral projects.

During the meeting, a presentation was made on the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone project in Sindh province.

Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.A. Totuiaev provided detailed information on the economic opportunities of Kyrgyzstan and the most perspective investment projects. Especially, he focused on the existing potential in railways, highways, hydropower and construction sectors.

The parties exchanged views on further directions for the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.

Materials on 49 investment projects of the Kyrgyz Republic in various sectors were presented and distributed to the participants of the meeting.
