On March 24, Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev met with the President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr.Kashif Anwar and members of the Chamber.

During this meeting, the parties discussed topical issues and prospects for the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Аgreed on organizing mutual visits of business delegations of the two countries, as well as holding of joint exhibitions and fairs of various types of textile and food industry products on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Ambassador H.E. Mr.U.A.Totuiaev provided detailed information about the economic opportunities of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the most promising investment projects. Emphasized on the existing potential for interaction in various fields, including the agricultural, textile and pharmaceutical industries. He noted the existing positive trend in increasing the volume of bilateral trade and called on Pakistani businessmen for active trade interaction with Kyrgyzstan.

The parties discussed on further directions for the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.
