The 7th National Mas-Wrestling Championship of Pakistan, organised by the Pakistan Mas Wrestling Federation under the auspices of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Pakistan, was held in Lahore on 9-10 March 2024 with the participation of around 700 athletes from all regions of the country. 

Among the guests of honour at the event were Provincial Minister of Punjab for Sports Affairs Mr.Faisal Ayub Khokhar, Deputy commissioner of Lahore Rafia Haider, Leadership of the government authorities, business-circles, the media representatives and athletes of Pakistan.

The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev in his speech noted that in the epic "Manas" this type of sports - Tayak Tartysh is described as a competition between the strongest men - “baatyrs”. In this regard, he noted the importance of holding this championship as a festival of sport, culture and friendship.

At the end of the competition, the winners received awards and valuable prizes. The National Mas-Wrestling Championship has received a positive response from the public and media in Pakistan
