On November 3, 2020, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Ruslan A. Kazakbayev had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahayan.

H.E. Mr. Ruslan A. Kazakbayev informed his counterpart about the stabilization of the political situation in the country, the formation of the Government headed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Sadyr Zhaparov, who is also entrusted with the powers of acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The sides also discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, related to the intensification of political dialogue, exchange of mutual visits at the highest and high levels, expansion of the legal framework.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed gratitude to the Emirates side for the humanitarian assistance provided in the fight against COVID-19 and welcomed the intentions of the UAE Government to continue humanitarian cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic.
