Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic temporarily staying in the territory of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are registered for consular registration by the consular section of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Abu Dhabi.

In accordance with Article 49 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On External Migration”, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic traveling outside the Kyrgyz Republic for a period of more than three months are registered at a diplomatic mission or consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic in the state of entry for 15 days.

Consular registration is carried out in order to organize effective consular services for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, to protect their rights and legally protected interests outside the Kyrgyz Republic. This procedure will allow solving various issues (assistance in obtaining a civil passport, registration of civil status acts, assistance to citizens in their return to their homeland in case of loss of a passport, legalization of documents, issuance of certificates, etc.).

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who have left the Kyrgyz Republic for a certain period of time are considered to be temporarily abroad.

This category includes citizens who are studying in educational institutions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, under treatment, citizens who carry out labor activities under an employment contract or entrepreneurial activity, as well as visiting relatives or friends.

When registering on consular registration on a temporary basis, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic submit:

1. registration card of the established form (to be filled in at the Embassy);
2. civil passport of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic with a valid UAE visa (original and copy);
3. copy of the resident card (Identity card) of the UAE;
4. copy of ID passport KR;
5. copy of student card (students);
6. two 3x4 size photos.

Consular fees - 11 dirhams UAE. Children under the age of 16 and persons over 60 years - 5.5 dirham only.

Attention: Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are exempt from consular fees when they are registered for temporary or permanent consular registration while they undergo biometric registration at the Embassy in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic or upon presentation of a standardized document confirming the biometric registration procedure.
