On May 9, 2024, in commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium H.E. Aidit Erkin and the members of the Embassy took part in the ceremony of laying wreaths at the graves of Soviet soldiers and members of the Belgian resistance who died during the Second World War.

Also, on May 6, 2024. Ambassador H.E. Aidit Erkin took part in the events organized by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Luxembourg on the occasion of Victory Day. Among other things, a requiem concert was given, at which poems dedicated to the feat of arms of the Soviet people and songs of the war years were performed.
