On April 5, 2024, at the initiative of the Embassy a meeting of entrepreneurs of the Kyrgyz Republic and India was held at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the event for representatives of Indian companies’ 1st Secretary of the Embassy Akmatkalyi kyzy Asel provided information on the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and investment projects in the pharmaceutical industry, energy and tourism were presented by the Kyrgyz business people.

The event was attended by about two dozen representatives of small and medium enterprises who were actively interested in issues of doing business in Kyrgyzstan, prospects for cooperation in various industries and the implementation of joint investment projects.

The parties also discussed issues of simplifying trade procedures, improving logistics, service and signing agreements. The meeting at the site of one of the leading chambers of commerce in India gave an important impetus to the further development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
