On April 4, 2024, an exhibition of light industry products of Kyrgyzstan was held at the largest Italian Commercial Distribution Center “CIS di Nola” (province of Naples).

This event was organized by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Italy together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan with the assistance of the Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Benevento (Campania region) A. Castielo to expand the export market for garment products of Kyrgyzstan.

The exhibition coordinator, head of the Kyrgyz company “TOOLAI” S. Beishenova presented the entire sewing range of products from twenty companies of Kyrgyzstan to Italian companies.

The prospects for cooperation in modeling, design, fabric selection, contract manufacturing of products in Kyrgyzstan, as well as logistics issues to Italy for further export of finished products were discussed.

Following the results of the exhibition, the President and Commercial Director of CIS di Nola F. Guido and F. Grimaldi expressed their readiness to organize a visit to Kyrgyzstan in the first half of 2024 for a group of interested Italian companies to establish direct contacts with clothing manufacturers in Kyrgyzstan and further mutually beneficial cooperation.

This year, the organization of similar exhibition events is also planned to be held in a number of other regions of Italy.
