1. Since August of 2012, citizens of the following countries (Visa Waiver Countries) do not need to have a visa to when visiting Kyrgyzstan up to 60 days (list).

If you are going to stay in Kyrgyzstan more than 60 days, you have to obtain a three months visa at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Swiss Confederation in Geneva.

2. Citizens from the following countries (Facilitated Visa Countries) can apply for a one month visa at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Swiss Confederation in Geneva (list).

Note: Citizens of the countries, listed above, are entitled to apply for Kyrgyz visa upon arrival to the International Airport «Manas» in Bishkek. (Cost of visa at the airport «Manas» is up to USD70, depending on the visa category, and is accepted only in cash).

3. Citizens from any other country, which is not included to the list of Visa Waiver or Facilitated Visa countries can apply for one month visa at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Swiss Confederation in Geneva

IMPORTANT: a primary visa is required to prolongate in-country visit upon expiry the visa-free period. A primary visa can not be obtained in Kyrgyzstan and is subject to be issued by diplomatic missions and consular posts of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad.
