Cultural and humanitarian cooperation

As part of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan, the Embassy in 2017–2018 provided support to ethnic Kyrgyz people of the Little and Great Pamir of Badakhshan province of Afghanistan. Specifically, in 2017 and 2018, humanitarian aid was delivered to ethnic Kyrgyz, and on the way back, 43 Kyrgyz were taken out to Kyrgyzstan, who were stationed in Naryn oblast for living and education. The Embassy in 2018 sent total of 31 people to Kyrgyzstan as part of the initiative to relocate ethnic Kyrgyz from Little and Great Pamir of Afghanistan Badakhshan province to Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to Afghanistan in 2018 actively assisted the delegation of athletes, journalists and creative figures of Afghanistan who intended to participate in the Third World Nomad Games. To this end, the Embassy provided support in issuance of electronic and ordinary visa. With active support of the Embassy, ​​two Shamshad Television journalists were accredited to World Nomad Games for coverage and popularization of the event among people of Afghanistan.
