Legal base

The legal base between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, created over the years of development of diplomatic relations, includes more than 352 contracts and agreements (of which 198 are interstate and intergovernmental, 146 are interdepartmental and 8 other documents) governing specific areas of interaction.

The founding documents of bilateral cooperation are the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation of June 10, 1992 and the Declaration on Eternal Friendship, Alliance and Partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation of July 27, 2000, Declaration on Strengthening Alliance and strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation of June 19, 2017.
