President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Zheenbekov today, September 12, received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Kyrgyzstan Yoshihiro Yamamura on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

The head of state expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Japan for his personal contribution to the development of Kyrgyz-Japanese relations based on mutual trust and respect.

"Kyrgyzstan pays special attention to the comprehensive development of bilateral relations with Japan. Over the years, we have managed to strengthen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation. Japan provides Kyrgyzstan with grant, credit and technical assistance to promote democratic values. I Express my gratitude on behalf of all the people of Kyrgyzstan", Sooronbay Zheenbekov said.

Ambassador Yoshihiro Yamamura thanked the President for the warm welcome, noting that during all the years of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan, he felt the support and good attitude of the Kyrgyz people and the Kyrgyz Government.

He briefly talked about the work that he had done as Ambassador, emphasizing that the project of the JICA "One Village - One Product" is now being implemented not only in Issyk-Kul region, but also in all areas of the country.

President Sooronbai Zheenbekov and Ambassador Yoshihiro Yamamura discussed issues of political, trade, economic, interparliamentary, diplomatic, socio-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
