On January 12 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Serdar Muhammetdurdyev.

During the conversation, the parties noting with satisfaction the positive dynamics of development of bilateral relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan, discussed issues of expanding comprehensive cooperation, including conducting visits at the highest and high levels, which will give impetus to the further promoting and deepening of Kyrgyz-Turkmen relations .

In order to further develop the economic partnership, the parties also emphasized the important role of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkmen Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation, as well as to hold the next Sixth meeting of this Commission and implementing previously reached agreements.

Along with this a special attention was paid to the prospects for interaction in the energy, transport and logistics industries and the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening bilateral relations and maintaining regular contacts.
