On July 31, 2018 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, within the framework of the third meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkmen Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation, the Kyrgyz-Turkmen Trade and Investment Session was held for the first time.

A delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov took part in the event. Representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, Ministry of Industry, State Committee for Tourism, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Turkmenistan, Turkmenbashi and Senagat, as well as representatives of the business community.

During the session, presentations and videos on the investment, agricultural and tourism potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as on the III World Nomad Games were presented and shown. Participants from the Turkmen side were given answers to their questions.
