As part of establishing cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and Cambridge University in the UK, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UK Ulan Djusupov, Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chinara Adamkulova and Doctor of Law, Vice Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zainidin Kurmanov met with the Chairman of Cambridge Forum on Central Asia, Professor Siddharth Saxena of the Cambridge University on 30 September 2022.

The parties emphasized the importance of establishing cooperation between the two educational institutions for conducting joint research, events and implementation of international educational and research projects. During the meeting, specific agreements have been reached to hold joint lectures and seminars as well as to develop the research and educational capacities of the Diplomatic Academy and engage in the implementation of joint programs.

During the visit to Cambridge, a meeting with the teaching staff and students of the university, specialising in Central Asia, was held, which included an in-depth exchange of views on the ongoing processes in the region as well as important reforms taking place in the Kyrgyz Republic.
