H.E. Mr. Ulan Djusupov

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ireland, Iceland

Starting his diplomatic career in 1994, Ulan Djusupov has held various positions withhin the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Kyrgyz  Republic and diplomatic missions abroad.

His first overseas posting was to the USA where he served as a 3rd Secretary at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Washington DC, from 1997 tto 1999. He also serd at the mission to the UN in New York, Canada, Malaysia and the UN in Geneva, he acted as Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Group, as Kyrgyzstan was elected to head this group.

At the Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ulan Djusupov held roles such as Director of the UN and International Security Department; Advisor to the Foreign Minister, Special Representative of the Prime Mminister.

In April 2022, he assumed his current role as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

H.E. Mr Ulan Djusupov obtained his bachelor's degree in history from Moscow State University (MSU) in 1994. He later pursued Business Management at The International University of Kyrgyzstan.
