About eight thousand Pakistani students study in different Higher Educational Institutions in Kyrgyzstan (mainly in medical schools).

Working visit of the delegation of Higher Educational Commission, the Ministry of Education and higher educational institutions of Pakistan to Bishkek and meetings at ministries and higher educational institutions was held on October 1-9, 2016.  

Chairman of International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) Asylbek Aidaraliev visited Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar on January 13-19, 2017 and signed five memorandums of understanding between IUK and Pakistani Universities.

Kyrgyz-Pakistani International Institute of Medical Sciences under International University of Kyrgyzstan was established in 2017.

In 2017 Kyrgyz artists’ Paintings and Photo Exhibition along with Kyrgyz Movie Screening was first held in Islamabad to mark 25th Anniversary of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan Diplomatic Relations.

Pakistani sports teams participated in the World Nomad Games held in Kyrgyzstan in 2016 and 2018.

Delegation of Kyrgyz higher educational institutions visited Pakistan on March 22-30, 2019. Delegation members met with officials from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and a number of universities in Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi to establish and develop cooperation with leading Pakistani universities.

Ambassador Erik Beishembiev visited Gujranwala and Lahore in Punjab Province on December 7-10, 2019 to hold Third Kyrgyz Ambassador National Championship on Mas-Wrestling where around 500 sportsmen and 26 teams from all over the country, guests from Russia, US and Kyrgyzstan took part. The event included Photo Exhibition to mark 75th Anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and 30th Anniversary of Kyrgyz Language Status as State Language.  

As part of environmental diplomacy, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in collaboration with Pakistan Snow Leopard Foundation held three events in 2019 to promote ecotourism and protection of snow leopard habitat.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in collaboration with Pakistan Snow Leopard Foundation held Art to Preserve Snow Leopard Exhibition on February 7, 2020, on March 3, 2020 organized celebration of World Wildlife Day at the National University for Computer and Emerging Sciences in Islamabad on the theme of “Sustaining All Life on Earth".
