On July 29, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kyrgyz Republic Monica Iversen on occasion the completion of her diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.

The parties noted with satisfaction the high level of Kyrgyz-German relations and discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation between the countries. The parties also emphasized the preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries in 2022, including the organization of mutual visits at the highest and high levels.

Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev noted the contribution of Ambassador Monica Iversen to strengthening the confidential political dialogue, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between Kyrgyzstan and Germany. At the end of the meeting the Ambassador M.Iversen was awarded by the departmental award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for her contribution to strengthening the Kyrgyz-German bilateral cooperation.
