On August 30, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the President of the Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali, who arrived in Bishkek for participation in the XIV International Competition of Akyns-Improvisers «Aitysh», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 175th anniversary of the famous Kazakh akyn Zhambyl Zhabayev, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Public Foundation «Aitysh».

During the Meeting D.Kydyrali congratulated the Kyrgyz side on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic and wished further success in strengthening the Kyrgyz statehood and building a strong state and a fair society.

The President of the Turkic Academy informed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic about the current activity and projects of the Academy, plans for the nearest future, including in terms of deepening cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Head of the Kyrgyz foreign body highly appreciated the activity of the Turkic Academy in the study of the Turkic world and noted the importance of preserving the rich heritage of the fraternal Turkic-speaking states.

The regular scientific works of the Turkic Academy were presented within the Meeting: Tagai Biy (Muhammed Kyrgyz), Zhambyl Zhabayev (selected works), published in the Kyrgyz language, as well as the historical and cultural atlas «Turkic world». The intentions of the Turkic Academy to hold events dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Zhusup Abdrakhmanov in Almaty and the 120th anniversary of Kuseyin Karasayev in Nur-Sultan were discussed.
