А video conference of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev with representatives of Kyrgyz public and business associations, diaspora organizations, as well as with compatriots living in the Russian Federation, in particular, in the city of Moscow and the Moscow region

On September 8, 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a video conference of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev with representatives of Kyrgyz public and business associations, diaspora organizations, as well as with compatriots living in the Russian Federation, in particular, in the city of Moscow and the Moscow region.

The meeting was also attended by the heads of the relevant departments of the headquaters of the Ministry and the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation.

The main purpose of the online meeting was to discuss topical issues and problems concerning Kyrgyzstanis living and working in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in other regions of the Russian Federation Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Yakutsk, Irkutsk, Surgut, Krasnoyarsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and other towns.

The videoconference was opened and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ruslan Kazakbaev delivered a welcoming speech. In his opening speech, the Minister thanked everyone for their participation and noted the great contribution of activists and representatives of Kyrgyz public organizations to the development of the socio-economic and cultural potential of the Kyrgyz Republic. He expressed special gratitude to the representatives of the diaspora and all caring compatriots with an active civil position who helped Kyrgyzstan during the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Noting the existing problems of compatriots working abroad, the Minister spoke about the work carried out by state bodies to solve them. In particular, he informed the interlocutors about the implementation of the Decrees of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On taking measures aimed at improving the migration situation", "On spiritual, moral and physical education of the individual" and "On the procedure for repatriation to the Kyrgyz Republic of the bodies of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who died abroad".

In addition, Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev, stressing the significant number of our fellow citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation, called on everyone to take an active part in the upcoming elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, which will be held on November 28 this year.

During the online meeting, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions of concern to them, as well as make suggestions for improving the work of the Embassy, Consulates General and the Embassy offices of the of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation. The issues of delivery of cargo 200, the need to increase the number of employees of consular offices, expand the geography and frequency of charter flights, the introduction of Meken Kart were also discussed.

The topic of the so-called "black list" of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on migration issues was also discussed, according to which a ban on entry to the territory of the country for various violations was established.

Calling on those present to observe all laws, customs and order of the host country, the Minister said that negotiations on the issue of withdrawing from "black list" and replacing this measure with a fine or other less strict administrative measures will continue.

Referring to the topic of social protection and medical services, he stressed that, despite the results achieved in this direction, the issue of obtaining health insurance for families of workers remains open and work in this direction will continue both in a bilateral and multilateral format within the Eurasian Economic Union.

For each question, detailed answers were given by both the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the heads of the Consular Departments and the Department of External Migration, as well as employees of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation. The appeals of compatriots are mainly taken under control by the Minister and will be resolved personally by the Embassy and the heads of the relevant departments of the Ministry.

In conclusion, the meeting participants thanked the Minister for organizing videoconferencing, and also expressed their hope for further meetings of this format.

In turn, Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev expressed gratitude to compatriots for participating in the online meeting, congratulated on the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, wished health and announced his intention to make such meetings traditional.
