On December 9, 2021, in Cairo Mr. Aibek Artykbaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the 42nd session of the General Conference of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) which was held under the patronage of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Within the conference, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev delivered a speech in which he noted the important role of the organization in the education system of Kyrgyzstan and its significant place in Muslim countries.

Besides, he encouraged ICESCO member countries and the organization's leadership to consolidate efforts to upgrade educational programs, preserve objects of historical and cultural heritage and further strengthen friendly ties.

As part of this event, the head of the Kyrgyz delegation held bilateral meetings with Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the ARE, Dr. Salim Al-Malik, Director General of ICESCO and Mr. Ayman Ali Kamel, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
