The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Artykbaev received copies of the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Islamabad Mohammed Motahar Alashabi

On March 14, 2022 Mr. Aibek Artykbaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic received copies of the credentials of Mr. Mohammed Motahar Alashabi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Islamabad.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev congratulated M.Alashabi on the assumption of his duties as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to the Kyrgyz Republic and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.

Given that the diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1997, A.Artykbaev noted the need to strengthen cooperation primarily by extending the legal framework.

The parties also stressed the importance of providing mutual support for the candidacies of the two countries to the elected bodies of international organizations.

The Deputy Minister informed that the Kyrgyz Republic hoped that the crisis in Yemen will be resolved by peaceful means through the UN-mediated political dialogue between the conflicting parties.

IAmbassador M.Alashabi, in his turn, thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for the assistance in the organization of his visit to Bishkek and expressed the readiness of the Yemeni side to cooperate with the Kyrgyz Republic in various fields of mutual interest.

In conclusion, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev confirmed the willingness of the Kyrgyz side to consider the proposals and initiatives highlighted during the meeting and provide all possible support, wishing the Ambassador further success.
