The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Artykbaev received copies of credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Ankara Adem Mohamed Mahmud

On March 14, 2022 Mr. Aibek Artykbaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, received copies of credentials of Mr. Adem Mohamed Mahmud, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Ankara.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev congratulated A.Mahmud on the assumption of his duties as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Kyrgyz Republic, expressing hope for further fruitful joint work.

A.Artykbaev noted that the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states in 2016 required the parties to lay a solid foundation for the Kyrgyz-Ethiopian cooperation, primarily through the development of the treaty and legal basis within the international organizations and conduct of the political consultations.

The sides stressed the importance of developing the institute of the honorary Consulars, whose activities contributed to the development of bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador A.Mahmoud, in his turn, expressed gratitude to the Ministry for its assistance in the organization of his first visit to Bishkek and highlighted the desire of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to establish cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in such fields as economy, agriculture and tourism.

In conclusion, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev expressed the willingness of the Kyrgyz side to consider submitted proposals and initiatives, wishing  the Ambassador further success.
