The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Artykbaev received copies of the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Ankara Sid Ahmed El Bekaye Hamadi

On March 14, 2022 Mr. Aibek Artykbaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, received copies of the credentials of Mr. Sid Ahmed El Bekaye Hamadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Ankara.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev congratulated S. Hamadi on the assumption of his duties as the first in the history of Kyrgyz-Mauritanian bilateral relations Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Ankara and expressed hope for further fruitful work.

Given that diplomatic relations between the two states were established in 2015, A.Artykbayev noted the need to develop bilateral cooperation through the expansion of the treaty and legal basis, political consultations, establishment of the intergovernmental commission and also mutual support within the international organizations.

Ambassador S.Hamadi, in his turn, expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for the warm welcome, noting that he would make every effort to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various fields, such as tourism, trade, agriculture, mining, etc.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of the institute of the honorary Consulars, whose activities contributed to the development of bilateral cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Minister expressed the readiness of the Kyrgyz side to consider the submitted proposals and initiatives, wishing the Ambassador further success.
