The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Artykbaev received copies of the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Tehran Eric Owusu-Boateng

On March 14, 2022, Mr. Aibek Artykbaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic received copies of the credentials of Mr. Eric Owusu-Boateng, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Tehran.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev congratulated the head of the diplomatic mission on the assumption of his duties as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Kyrgyz Republic, expressing the interest in conducting fruitful joint work.

The parties exchanged views on the development of Kyrgyz-Ghanaian relations and reaffirmed their sole intention to take concrete steps to strengthen cooperation in various fields, paying special attention to expanding the treaty and legal basis, developing cooperation within the international organizations and holding political consultations.

The parties also agreed to consider the possibility of organizing bilateral events on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, as well as take measures to promote the establishment of the institute of the honorary Consulars.

Ambassador E.Owusu-Boateng, in his turn, highlighted the desire of the Ghanaian side to establish cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in such fields as subsoil use, agriculture, tourism, etc.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev expressed the readiness of the Kyrgyz side to consider the submitted proposals and initiatives, wishing the Ambassador further success.
