On June 1, 2022 as part of the work carried out by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Italy aimed at development of international regional cooperation Ambassador T. Bazarbaev met with the Mayor of Naples G. Manfredi.

During the meeting, issues of the establishment of bilateral cooperation between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and the city of Naples and a buildup trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed. T.Bazarbaev informed about the potential of the agricultural, textile, hydropower and tourism sectors in Kyrgyzstan. He proposed G. Manfredi to provide joint support to entrepreneurs of the two states in implementation of relevant projects.

As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyzstan and Italy, T. Bazarbaev proposed to organize a visit of G. Manfredi to the Kyrgyz Republic leading a delegation of representatives of the Italian business, cultural and academic circles to hold bilateral meetings with interested partners.

At the same time, T. Bazarbaev expressed a request to consider the issue of a possible allocation for our large Kyrgyz diaspora living in the city of Naples and the Campania region of a municipal building for the opening of a “cultural house of Kyrgyzstan”. He also expressed a request to assist our citizens in organizing the celebration of the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan in Naples. In turn, G. Manfredi expressed readiness to consider the possibility of providing assistance in the above-mentioned requests.

In Naples, T. Bazarbaev also met with C. Santanello, Director of the world's oldest Conservatory "San Pietro a Majella". He informed about the activities of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory. K. Moldobasanov and proposed to start the implementation of bilateral cultural exchange by signing a Memorandum of bilateral Cooperation, organizing mutual visits of the heads of conservatories, joint concerts, creative meetings, master classes, scientific and practical conferences, competitions, as well as internships for their students.

K. Santanello expressed gratitude for the interest shown by the Kyrgyz side in establishing bilateral ties, as well as the readiness to consider proposals for the implementation of joint projects specified by T. Bazarbaev.
