On June 4, 2022, an exchange of congratulatory messages took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Bui Thanh Son on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam.

In his congratulations, the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kulubaev, noted that friendly relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, based on mutual respect and mutually beneficial partnership will continue to develop in the interests of the two countries.

He especially emphasized that today all the necessary conditions have been created for expanding and deepening productive cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam.

In his turn, Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son highlighted that over the 30-year period of interaction between the countries, friendly relations have been established and noted that mutually beneficial Kyrgyz-Vietnamese cooperation will be further strengthened. Bui Thanh Son also expressed hope that the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries would maintain and develop traditional relations, making full use of all opportunities to strengthen the interconnection both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
