On October 4, 2022 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Valeriy Zhovtenko.

The parties discussed a number of issues on bilateral agenda.

Regarding the situation in Ukraine, Minister Kulubaev noted the importance of the speedy restoration of peace and stability in the country and reiterated the unchanging position of Kyrgyzstan on the need to resolve this crisis by exclusively peaceful, political and diplomatic means within the framework of generally recognized principles and norms of international law.
