On October 27, 2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia U.Maripov met with the Executive Director of the Saudi Fund for Development Sultan Abdurrahman Al-Marshad, during which sides discussed the implementation of joint projects.

In particular, Ambassador U.Maripov highly appreciated the activities of the Saudi Fund for Development in Kyrgyzstan, which are aimed at supporting the socio-economic development of the country, and thanked the Saudi side for supporting the implementation of important projects in Kyrgyzstan, while expressing interest in continuing cooperation.

Sultan Abdurrahman Al-Marshad noted with satisfaction the results of his visit to Kyrgyzstan in September this year and stressed that close ties have developed between the Saudi Development Fund and the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Fund is ready to strengthen cooperation.

The parties agreed to continue joint work and implement in the future a number of other projects aimed at improving the socio-economic block of the country.
