On November 10, 2022, in Samarkand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev took part in the Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The meeting of the Foreign Ministers took place on the eve of the 9th OTS Summit in Samarkand, which will open a new milestone in the development of cooperation between the Turkic States.

The parties exchanged views on relevant issues on the agenda of the OTS, and paid special attention to the theme of the Summit: "New Era of Turkic Civilization - Towards Common Development and Prosperity."

Minister Kulubaev noted that within the framework of economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the OTS, it is necessary to join efforts to take concrete measures to complete the procedure for creating the Turkic Investment Fund and focused on the need to locate the headquarters of this Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev assured that the Kyrgyz Republic would continue to contribute to the strengthening of Turkic integration. He stressed the importance of intensifying multilateral cooperation and taking concrete measures to increase trade, investment potential and implement projects in the field of transport and energy.

In addition, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the OTS Member States discussed a number of documents which will be adopted by Council of Heads of State of the Organization on November 11, 2022 in Samarkand.
