On April 14, 2024 in Tashkent, within the framework of participation in the Second Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia - Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities and prospects for intensifying bilateral interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait in political, trade, economic, investment and other areas.

The parties emphasized the importance of exchanging visits at the highest and high levels to strengthen the political dialogue between the two countries, and also exchanged views on current issues of the international and regional situation.

Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev invited the Kuwaiti side to take an active part in the Issyk-Kul Investment Forum of Central Asian Countries and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf planned in July this year.

In turn, Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya expressed gratitude for the invitation and emphasized the need to use such platforms to strengthen investment cooperation.
