On July 27, 2022, Mr. Aibek Moldogaziev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic met with Mr. Latif Gandilov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached following the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. S. Japarov to the Republic of Azerbaijan on April 19-20 this year.

In this context, they noted the importance of holding the 4th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation in the near future.

The parties also compared notes on the preparation of visits at the highest and high levels, including aspects of strengthening the legal framework.

Noting the positive experience of interaction at multilateral platforms, the parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in this area.

Separately, they discussed joint plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

The parties agreed to maintain close working contacts to further promote mutually beneficial cooperation, expand and deepen bilateral relations.
