A cultural program was organized as part of the official visit of the President of the European Council Charles Michel to Kyrgyzstan

Today, on June 3, in Issyk-Kul region, on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, a cultural program was organized for the President of the European Council (EU) Charles Michel as part of his official visit to Kyrgyzstan.

The program was organized because of his great interest in the national culture, traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people.

Upon their arrival at the ethno-complex, the delegations were warmly welcomed by the "Alptar" heroes and young women dressed in national attire "Atalar izi".

The guests had the opportunity to experience the ethno-cultural program that unfolded along the alley of artisans. Various yurts were set up to showcase the national customs and traditions of the Kyrgyz people, while storytellers shared excerpts from the epic tale of "Manas." Singers and instrumentalists demonstrated their skills, providing a captivating performance.

During the event, the Heads of delegations were treated to demonstrations of traditional ethno-cultural games such as "salbuurun" and "kyz kuumai," which incorporate elements of traditional hunting. Additionally, a concert program was presented by the renowned folklore and ethnographic ensemble named after Ch. Isabayev, known as "Kambarkan."
