On April 25, 2024, Ambassador Anvar Anarbaev met with the Deputy President of the Senate of the Parliament of Malaysia Datuk Nur Jazlan bin Tan Sri Mohamed at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Malaysia.

During the meeting the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia, expansion of bilateral trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of intensifying joint efforts to exchange visits of parliamentarians of the two countries, including at the level of speakers. In addition, an agreement was reached to continue cooperation within the framework of "friendship groups" between the Parliaments of the two countries.
