On December 23, 2022, in Lahore, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a solemn opening ceremony of the Kyrgyzstan Trade House was held in the city of Lahore, Punjab province of Pakistan with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev and the Chairman of the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade H.E. Mr. Fazil Asif Jah.

The trade house was opened at the initiative of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan together with representatives of the business community of the host country in order to promote domestic products on the market of Pakistan.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador U.Totuiaev indicated that Pakistan is a promising direction for Kyrgyzstan in terms of developing export-import relations, given the geographical location and the level of bilateral relations. In this regard, he noted with satisfaction the importance of opening a trading house in one of the most active business cities in Pakistan and expressed confidence that in the near future, through effective interaction, the level of trade and, in general, trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan will reach to the qualitatively new level.

During the event, a wide range of products manufactured in the Kyrgyz Republic was presented, in particular, food, national drinks, souvenirs. In addition, materials on the tourism and investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic were demonstrated.
