Aibek Artykbaev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, received Mr. Bismellah Vaziri, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Kyrgyz Republic

On June 10, 2021,  Aibek Artykbaev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, received Mr. Bismellah Vaziri, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues on the development of Kyrgyz-Afghan relations. In particular, on the need to develop bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, including attraction of investment, tourism, education, as well as promoting the early coming of peace and security in Afghanistan.

The Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev expressed gratitude for the measures taken by the Afghan side to improve the situation of ethnic Kyrgyz in the Great and Small Afghan Pamir and expressed hope that the Government of Afghanistan will continue to support measures to implement infrastructure and social projects of the Great and Small Afghan Pamir.

In turn, the Ambassador of IRA in the Kyrgyz Republic B.Vaziri assured that the IRA Embassy in Bishkek will make efforts to increase the level of Kyrgyz-Afghan trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev wished the IRA Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic B.Vaziri professional success and expressed hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation.

The Ambassador of Afghanistan B.Vaziri congratulated the Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev on his appointment and wished him further success in his diplomatic activities.
