On May 23, 2022, a meeting between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev with the Plenipotentiary of the German Foreign Ministry for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia Mr. Matthias Lüttenberg in the Federal Foreign Office was held.

During the conversation, issues of developing Kyrgyz-German relations, holding joint events and mutual visits within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Germany this year were discussed.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev informed about the planned Kyrgyz-German Business Forum and the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council on June 13 and 14 this year in Bishkek.

An exchange of views and information on the international situation, the development of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union, as well as cooperation between the countries of Central Asia took place.
