Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev met with the new head of the report "South Caucasus and Central Asia" of the German Foreign Ministry Matthias Vollert

On August 10, 2022, at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Berlin, an introductory meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev and the new head of the report "South Caucasus and Central Asia" at the German Foreign Ministry Mr. Matthias Vollert, during which issues of developing bilateral cooperation in various fields, plans on exchange visits and other joint activities.

 Ambassador Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev informed about the initiatives of Kyrgyzstan on the announcement of 2022 within the framework of the UN "International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development", the Five Years of Action for the Development of Mountain Regions, as well as on holding within the framework of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in September 2022 in New York High-level meetings on sustainable mountain development. He asked the German side to support these initiatives of the Kyrgyz Republic and take an active part.

Ambassador Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev also raised issues in the consular sphere and appealed to the German side with a request to simplify the procedure for legalizing documents issued by the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as faster reception by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic at the German Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic to apply for visas, as well as simplify the procedure for issuing them.
