On February 20, 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan hosted the ceremony of presenting true copies of Credentials to Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Mr. Takeo Mori by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan Mr. Erkinbek Osoev.

Mr. T.Mori noted the strength of bilateral relations and common tasks for the further development of partnership in the new world order. Assured that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan would support E.A. Osoev in the performing assigned tasks of both countries.

The parties discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation, as well as the preparation of the upcoming bilateral visit at the highest level.

The parties noted the prospects for further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The Japanese side warmly congratulated Mr. E.Osoev with the appointment to the post of Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan and wished success in his new post.
