Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov met with the Deputy Governor of the Mecca Region, His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz

On May 31, 2023, in Jeddah, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov met with the Deputy Governor of the Mecca Region, His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the organization of mutual visits at various levels, the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, the importance of opening direct flights, as well as the establishment of friendly relations between the regions of the two countries.

Based on the strengthening multifaceted cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Saudi Arabia, as well as taking into account mutual interest, Ambassador U.Maripov and Prince B.Abdulaziz also discussed the issues of establishing sister city relations between the cities of Osh and Jeddah, which will help strengthen friendship between the two cities and their residents .

In this regard, the parties agreed to continue coordinated work to promote the draft Memorandum on the establishment of sister city relations between the mayor's office of the city of Osh and the Municipality of the city of Jeddah, which is under consideration by the parties.

B. Abdulaziz noted that the leadership of the Kingdom attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic, expressing readiness to provide all possible assistance to the Embassy in the implementation of activities to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries.

In conclusion, Ambassador U.Maripov invited the Deputy Governor of the Mecca Region, His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, to visit the Kyrgyz Republic at a convenient time for him.
