As part of a working visit to Istanbul, on April 6, 2023, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Chairman of the Commission on Diplomatic Relations of the Association of Independent Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (MÜSİAD) Osman Nuri Önügören.

During the meeting, Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev informed about the investment potential of Kyrgyzstan and the conditions for doing business in the country, in particular, drew attention to low taxes, free movement of capital, and also introduced promising sectors of the domestic economy for investment and cooperation. In order to strengthen economic cooperation, Mr. Ambassador proposed to develop an action plan, organize business meetings and investment forums at the sites of the MÜSİAD association.

At the same time, the parties also discussed the activities of the Association in the framework of trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye, including issues of increasing trade turnover, in terms of importing goods and services from Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of the meeting, the parties developed specific steps, a plan of measures and actions to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.
